Wulf Creek Photograghy

I had a lot of fun with this because at this current moment I am also working on "spicing" up my current website. Being able to apply concepts I learned in Photoshop is going to help me tremendously with my business (and that is why I took this class) =) ...now that classes are over for 10 days I can devote my time to my site so it will be ready for Christmas sales. I LOVED this class and I can't wait to take the advanced class.

I tried to do all my writing in white with the dark background. I feel that if you get too much color on your site it gets too busy and takes away from your products. All the pictures in this project are mine.

Good luck everyone!!!

Wulf Creek Photography

I think I am going to have fun with this assignment. I have created many websites before for my business and for others, but I have never used any photo shop creativity. I am currently redesigning my own website, and hopefully I will create something interesting that I can add to my actual site.

Carbon Footprint

I had a lot of fun with this =). The foot definitely took me a bit to figure out, but I definitely like the way it came out. I brightened up all the green on every earth picture so it would stand out. Think Green!!

The walker is thinking about saving the earth, the runner is kicking up "dirt" earths and the biker has earth on their mind as the tires turn =)

I am an avid runner and would love to reduce my carbon footprint more...I just sure wish they would make more runner/biker lanes and make it safer for us!!

Carbon Footprint

I decided to do my project on the affects driving has on our earth. if everyone would either bike, walk, or run to their destinations our world would be a better place. not just by helping our environment, but also our waistlines.

I would love to work our earth, a runner, biker and walker into my card and have it flow right. I have many good ideas and I can't wait to get started on it.

John Denver

This was definitely challenging for me. I wanted to add more, but it looked too busy and did not flow right. I tried to make the theme as John Denver was "Home" (heaven) and the country roads took him there, but it was hard for me to portray it in the image. I hope that it kind of shows.
He died way too young...he was a great artist!

I did have a lot of fun designing this and I listened to his music the entire time =)

John Denver

I chose to do my book cover on folk artist John Denver. I loved listening to him growing up and I still remember the day he died in the plane crash. I have been listening to his music again these past few days as I design and I still love it. I actually downloaded some on my ipod for my runs. I look forward to the outcome of my project, I have a feeling I am going to be more challenged than the past two =)

Lung Cancer Awareness Poster

I had a lot of fun with this project. I had many more ideas, but when I put it on the paper it looked too "busy", so I will probably create separate ones for my school talks coming up this fall.

The lungs took me a couple hours to make, but I enjoyed it.

I actually took a cigarette from a friend so I could take a picture of it for this project. Being a former smoker (13 years ago I Quit), it is still hard to have a cigarette in your presence. My husband and I actually lit it and both took a drag....we both wanted to vomit!! I can't believe I was actually a smoker and how gross it really is.

I really hope that someday soon the government wakes up and makes cigarettes illegal....lives are way more important than money!!!

Lung Cancer/Quit Smoking Awareness Poster.

Hi everyone. I chose lung cancer / quitting smoking for my awareness poster because it has a very special meaning to me. My mom died in 2001 from lung cancer and my dad is a lung cancer survivor.

I put on an annual race for awareness http://www.wulfcreekdesigns.com/susan-haggart-lung-cancer-5k

..and I also plan on talking in schools this year.

I am excited about this project because I will probably use it with my talks and programs.

The only challenge I see is my darn computer...lol...but hopefully it will not give me any more issues.
